大咖云集,分享PBL有效实践——长三角中小学校长国际论坛高中分论坛集锦

Educational Experts Converge on Shanghai Thomas School, Sharing PBL Practice Experience——High School Sub-Forum Highlights in the Yangtze River Delta Primary and Secondary School Principals International Forum.



在经历充分准备和广泛连线的繁忙之后,上海托马斯实验学校崭新靓丽的校园迎来了大咖云集的2019长三角中小学校长国际论坛,国内外20多位教育专家齐聚一堂,围绕论坛主题“学习方式变革 PBL有效实践”,各抒己见、交流分享,相互碰撞、精彩纷呈。全天活动包括论坛开幕式、主旨报告和中小学分段论坛三大部分,下午的高中分论坛由上海托马斯实验学校党组织负责人刘友霞主持。


After elaborate preparation and extensive connection-building, the brand new and cutting edge campus of Shanghai Thomas School ushered in the 2019 international forum for principals of Yangtze River Delta primary and secondary schools. Over 20 educational experts from home and abroad gathered to exchange and share their insights on the forum's theme: A Revolution of Learning Methods——The Productive Practice of PBL. The day's activities include the opening ceremony of the forum, the keynote speech and the primary and secondary school sub-forums. The high school sub-forum in the afternoon was hosted by Liu Youxia, the head of the Party branch of Shanghai Thomas School.



长三角教育主管部门的党政领导和高中校长、教师出席了高中组分论坛,五位主讲嘉宾均来自中美优质高中学校。


The party and government leadership of the educational department of the Yangtze River Delta, high school principals and several esteemed teachers attended the high school sub-forum. The five guest speakers were all from China's quality high schools and America's quality high schools.



美国德克萨斯州达拉斯市美国科学与工程精英学校校长Andrew Palacios先生,以《为普通收入家庭学生群体创建着眼全球的STEM课程体系》为主题,分享了培养学生的学识、技能、个性、好学精神,使学生在STEM领域具有全球竞争力的学校愿景、指导原则、独特项目拓展、四年高中课程设置及升学指导等精彩观点。Andrew校长学校的化学老师、科学系主任Jennifer Cambre博士,以《化学解决方案:最佳教学实践》为主题,展示了化学课堂教学策略、高标准高关联性的实验室体验、在社交环境中建构知识、运用粒子图讲授概念等有效教学实践。两位美国同行带来了全美STEM学校排名第一高中“针对普通收入家庭学生群体提供STEM教育最成功的学校”的案例分享。


Mr. Andrew Palacios, Principal of the School of Science and Engineering, a Magnet school in Dallas, Texas, US, on the topic of creating a global STEM curriculum, shared his ideas for cultivating students' knowledge, skills, personality, and learning motivation. He pointed out in order to achieve this goal, the school needs to have vision, guiding principles, unique programs, enrichment opportunities, four-year high school curriculum setting and the college access programs, in order to enable the students to have global competence in STEM fields. Dr. Jennifer Cambre, chemistry teacher and the head of Science Department of the School of Science and Engineering, on the topic——Solutions in Chemistry: Best Teaching Practices——demonstrated effective teaching practices, such as chemistry class teaching tactics, rigorous and connected laboratory experience, and knowledge construction in social context and concept teaching by using particulate diagrams. The two educational counterparts from the US shared the different methodologies of the most successful school in the US, in terms of providing STEM education for under-represented minorities and economically disadvantaged students in the academically ranking No.1 STEM High School.





来自长三角的安徽芜湖市第十二中学校长张冬梅女士,介绍了《STEM理念下的项目化实验教学》的“三维两课一体”的成功经验和丰硕成果。上海市晋元高级中学党组织副书记、校长季洪旭先生,展示了《基于PBL模式下的单元教学实践》的“基于问题导学、基于问题化学习、基于问题化学习+”的有效做法和实践经验。同济大学第二附属中学党总支书记、校长陆杰先生以《PBL模式下师生角色定位》为主题,分享了“学生是基于问题学习的问题制造者,教师是基于问题教学的问题捕捉者”的观点与做法。


Ms. Zhang Dongmei, Principal of Wuhu No. 12 High School in Anhui Province introduced project-based experimental teaching with STEM ideas and presented the remarkable achievement of three-dimensional-two-course-one-integration: integrating teaching, learning, and practice. Mr. Ji Hongxu, deputy secretary of the Party Branch and principal of Jinyuan senior high school, on the topic——Creating Units for Teaching PBL——demonstrated the productive practice and experience of problem-based teaching, problem-based learning, and problem-based learning plus. Mr. Lu Jie, the General Secretary of the Party branch and the principal of Number Two Secondary School Affiliated with Tongji University, on the topic——Reversed Roles of Teachers and Students in PBL——shared his view and practice on students being problem innovators based on problem-based learning and teachers being problem detectors based on problem-based teaching.





PBL作为一种有效的学习方式,正在受到国内外教育界的广泛关注。在论坛中,中美高中校长都体现了立足办学实际,以学生发展为本,注重有效策略的PBL学习方式变革的实践追求。大平台,新方法,为了中国基础教育的变革,来自世界各地的教育人相聚上海托马斯,相信今日之相聚一定能成为中国基础教育变革路上的一块奠基之石。


As an effective way of learning, PBL has been widely utilized and practiced by educational circles domestic and abroad. In the forum, both Chinese and American high school principals all made clear the pursuit of focusing on the productive practice of PBL learning method reform, regarding the actual basis of school and each student's development. Big platform, new method. To revolutionize China's basic education, educators from all over the world gathered at Shanghai Thomas School. Undoubtedly, this conference has become a cornerstone for the Primary and Secondary Education Reform in China.
